It was the desire to simplify my house and thus (hopefully) my life that began it: the idea of going on Etsy.
Actually my grandson led me to it--my grandson the sometimes Ebay dealer who used to sell lego figures he made to kids all over the world or, more recently, refurbished electronics.
One day I was trying to figure out how to put some of my excess collectible stuff on Ebay and asked him about it, but he only shook his head. "Don't even bother," he said. "Ebay charges way too much these days. What you want is Etsy."
"Etsy?"
"Etsy.com. It's only been around a few years, but it's going to be big, very big. Trust me on this, just check it out."
So I did. These kids are cyber-smart--they know what's going on. And he was right. After spending a few hours clicking around, I signed up and began trying to figure out how to set up a shop. Which turned out to be trickier than I first imagined....
It can be daunting at first but does get get easier, the more you work it the easier it gets. And, then it starts to flow like honey, except you probably want it to flow more like water, a large lovely magnificent waterfall.

Thanks for the encouragement, Victoria, and for finding me right off the bat! I like that large, lovely magnificent waterfall image. And now I have to check out your Etsy site...:)
